Waterfalls.
"Foss" in Norwegian. When you say the word, can't you hear the "foss"?

Do you know that Norway has 5 of the 10 highest waterfalls in the world?

Anyone who has visited Norway will have noticed the waterfalls, especially on the West Coast and in Northern Norway.  They are everywhere. Ample rainfall in the coastal areas and hard rock has prevented the water to dig deep canyons, as in the Alps. Instead the rivers, brooks and rivulets cascade down the mountain sides. Many places, like in the Nærøy fjord and the Gudvangen valley in Sogn, there are waterfalls after waterfalls for miles. It is quite spectacular.

We are in the process of putting together a CD about Norwegian waterfalls and plan to have this available in the fall.  If you are interested in obtaining one of these CDs, please send us an email at sommernatt@yahoo.com and we will send you further information.
